Waikato Draught

Founded in 1876 in Dunedin, Speight’s has been a cornerstone of Kiwi culture for nearly 150 years.

Established by James Speight, Charles Greenslade, and William Dawson, brewing began at the historic Rattray Street Brewery — now the oldest operational brewery in New Zealand. Synonymous with hard work, camaraderie, and a deep connection to the land and its people, Speight’s has become a national symbol of modern mateship.

Today, it’s celebrated for the refreshing Speight’s Summit Ultra low carb lager and the classic Gold Medal Ale, alongside a diverse range of beers enjoyed across the country.
