Game, set, beer: Hahn joins the Australian Open as the Official Beer Partner

An Aussie fan-favourite is set to feature on centre court at Melbourne Park this summer!

What you need to know

  • Hahn has been named the Official beer of the Australian Open, thanks to a new multi-year deal between the Australian Open and LION.
  • The partnership will see Hahn champion the Australian Open experience both within Melbourne Park, but also through venues and in households across the country.

The Australian Open and LION have today announced a new multi-year deal that will see Hahn as the Official Beer of the Australian Open and Australian Summer of Tennis tour.

The Australian Open has become one of the great Australian summer experiences, bringing together world-class tennis, live entertainment, great food and drinks, and in 2026, over 1.4 million fans. Now Hahn is joining the action, with grand plans to make this summer of tennis one to remember, whether you’re courtside at Melbourne Park, catching up with mates at the local or following the action from home.

Within Melbourne Park Hahn House will provide a vibrant new two-storey destination on Grand Slam Oval, set to become one of the precinct’s premier social hubs during the tournament. Boasting a spacious layout, the venue will feature a lively beer garden and front-row access to the atmosphere and excitement that make the Australian Open one of the world’s great sporting festivals.

And Hahn won’t be the only LION brand taking serve at Melbourne Park in January. Stone & Wood will bring a distinctly ‘coastal sunset’ vibe to Garden Square and the Victorian local, but world-leading, Four Pillars will also add to the Australian Open’s line up of fan favourites with a new gin-bar at Kia Arena.

However, the partnership isn’t just about what happens inside Melbourne Park. Hahn intends to take the Australian Open experience beyond the tournament gates and into pubs, bottle shops and loungerooms across the country.

Fans can expect limited-edition Hahn packaging, competitions, exclusive tennis-inspired merchandise and other surprises along the way. From pop-up pickleball courts at local pubs to tennis racket-shaped drinks trays, Hahn is looking to bring a little of the Australian Open to some unexpected places, because while not everyone can make it to Melbourne Park, everyone should have the chance to get amongst the excitement of Australia’s biggest summer of tennis.

“Partnering with Tennis Australia is a major milestone for LION as we continue to invest in Australia’s biggest cultural and sporting moments.”

Tennis Australia Chief Commercial Officer Cedric Cornelis said LION was a natural addition to the Australian Open partner family.

“The Australian Open is where world-class sport, entertainment, hospitality and culture come together, and LION is a brand that shares our passion for bringing people together to celebrate great moments,” Cornelis said.

“We are constantly looking for new ways to elevate the fan experience, and Hahn House will provide an exciting new destination on Grand Slam Oval where fans can soak up the atmosphere, enjoy great hospitality and stay connected to every moment of the action.”

LION CEO and Managing Director Anubha Sahasrabuddhe said the partnership represented a significant milestone for the company.

“Partnering with Tennis Australia is a major milestone for LION as we continue to invest in Australia’s biggest cultural and sporting moments,” Sahasrabuddhe said.

“The Australian Open sets the global benchmark for major events, and there is no better backdrop to share the love on and off the court, showcasing our portfolio through elevated hospitality experiences. We are looking forward to working closely with Tennis Australia to deliver the best guest experience possible across Melbourne Park and beyond during the Summer of Tennis.”

Australian Open 2027, supported by major partner Kia in association with ANZ, Emirates, Luzhou Laojiao, and Rolex, will take place at Melbourne Park from 11 to 31 January 2027.
