We’ve taken urgent deliberate action with our carbon reduction approach and are proud to be a certified carbon neutral brewer.
We’re proud to have been Australia’s first major certified carbon neutral brewer in 2020, achieving the same in New Zealand in 2023.
We achieved our 2030 Scope 1 & 2 Science Based Target in 2023, seven years ahead of target. This represented a reduction of > 55% from our 2019 baseline.
We have established a ‘whole brewery’ carbon reduction approach including energy efficiency, biogas utilisation, rooftop solar and renewable energy power purchase agreements (PPAs). From mid 2025, we began procuring 100% renewable electricity to brew all our beers.
