As the Westpac NSW Blues head north for the Game Three decider, Tooheys has infiltrated New South Wales support directly into the heart of Queensland territory in a massive four-meter-tall wooden ‘Trojan Stag’.

Delivered as a monument to the Blues, True Blue Aaron Woods helped Tooheys ceremoniously ride the unwelcome Trojan Stag past iconic Brisbane landmarks in the ultimate act of interstate rivalry as it made its way across the New South Wales border to Queensland’s protest.

Today Queenslanders had front row seats to the Trojan Stag’s journey as it paraded through CBD hot spots including Kangaroo Cliffs, over the Storey Bridge, past the Brisbane Sign and the XXXX brewery, through the Caxton St Precinct and Suncorp Stadium where the game three showdown will take place.

Bearing its antlers on Maroons soil, the wooden Trojan Stag is adorned with a giant custom  Blues scarf and complete with an inbuilt confetti-releasing mechanism, all in the spirit of the mighty blues. It stands as a rally cry for Blues fans, proving that even in the heart of Queensland, New South Wales is loud, proud, and marking its presence.

"Tooheys has always supported New South Wales and our longstanding partnership with the Blues reflects this commitment to our great state. We are incredibly proud to take the Trojan Stag into the heart of Maroons turf. This act of friendly defiance is all about rallying the Blues fans and ensuring they feel right at home while supporting the team on rival grounds."

Aaron Woods, NSW True Blue legend adds: “Bringing the Trojan Stag into the lion’s den is all about showing that the Blues spirit is impossible to ignore. No matter where the game is played, NSW supporters travel together. We’re giving NSW fans a place to stand tall and loud in enemy territory. It’s not just about the game; it’s about claiming our turf and making our presence known before the kick-off.”
