Craft beer is the fastest growing segment in the New Zealand beer market with drinkers increasingly open to experimenting with exciting new beer styles. Lion is proud of offer a range of award winning craft beers from Emerson’s, Speight’s, and Mac’s.

Speight's

In 1876 James Speight & Co founded the Speight’s Brewery and with it began a long and proud history of passion for quality, innovation and integrity that has connected with New Zealanders across the country ever since. You'll find the word ‘pride' printed on the Speight's Gold Medal ale label. It is that pride that defines Speight's and sets us apart from ordinary beer brands. We are proud to come from a mighty little country that's prepared to take on the best of the rest of the world.

    Mac's

Mac’s is an imaginative and curious brand that loves self-expression, which means it’s never been constrained by what’s normal. The Mac's range of beers are naturally brewed, and they continue to innovate, crafting new beers to entice people to try something a bit more interesting than the classic every-day beer they might be used to. Mac’s also produces a cloudy apple cider as well as a range of exciting non-alcoholic fruit drinks.

      Emerson's

Emerson’s premium craft beers are very special with their hallmark in the intensity of flavour. Savour the flavours and aromas, whilst celebrating the brewer’s art and use of leading ingredients from New Zealand and around the world.

        Little Creatures

Little Creatures Brewing was born out of the love of great beer shared by a few good mates. In particular, it was a hop driven pale ale they tasted in the north west of the U.S that really captured their hearts and gave rise to this little brewery that began on the water’s edge in Fremantle.
