Best of the best: we are finalists in Australian Grand Dairy Awards

We always knew they were good, and now a judging panel of Australia’s top dairy experts agree.

Friday 1 December 2017

Dare, Masters and specialty cheeses from our King Island Dairy are named finalists in the 2018 Australian Grand Dairy Awards.

These prestigious Awards mark the grand final of all dairy competitions in Australia, recognising the country's finest dairy products. A panel  of expert judges have tasted and tested over 400 of Australia’s gold-medal winning products and whittled them down to a shortlist of 54 finalists.

Fans also get a chance to have their say when they vote for the 2018 People’s Choice Champion – and you can vote here for your favourites.

The Australian Grand Dairy Awards began in 1999 to recognise and reward excellence and innovation in Australian dairy produce and to acknowledge the achievements of the highly skilled, pioneering people who produce those products.

Only manufacturers of gold medal-winning products that are made from Australian milk and have already been through a rigorous judging process at Australian qualifying competitions are invited to enter the prestigious annual Australian Grand Dairy Awards.

Now in its 18th year, the Australian Grand Dairy Awards aim to increase promotional activities surrounding the winning products and to raise awareness of the quality and versatility of Australian dairy products. Winners will be announced in February.
