12 September 2016: - Following a three month extensive refurbishment, the Byron Bay Brewery is ready to reopen its doors on Friday September 16 2016.
Gordon Treanor, Craft Director at Lion, said the venue will continue to offer the highest quality, fresh and flavoursome craft beers as part of a reinvigorated food and beverage experience and would remain an integral part of the Byron community into the future.
“We are excited to open the doors to the Brewery and share the revitalised space with locals and visitors alike. We believe we have developed a high-quality yet accessible food and beverage experience that showcases what the Byron region has to offer. We also know how important the Brewery is to the local region and we are looking forward to finding new and innovative ways to engage the community and give back to those who continue to support us”.
Only minutes from the centre of town, the Byron Bay Brewery combines wide-open spaces, intimate booth seating and an impressive beer garden that is ideal for families, groups or just a friendly catch up over one of the Brewery’s distinctive beers and a delicious meal.
Head Brewer Alastair Gillespie, who has been with the Byron Bay Brewery since June 2015, is looking forward to the next chapter of the Brewery in Byron.
“I’ve seen the work that’s gone into the renovation and I can’t wait for people to come in and see how great it looks. Anyone who pops in will really enjoy the new experience on offer and I am really looking forward to brewing some of the popular ales made at the brewery over the years and also sharing some new lagers.”
The Byron community is welcome to come and enjoy local craft beer brewed on-site, excellent food, brilliant service and live music from Friday 16th September.
